Chennai is home to thousands of Bengali professionals, researchers, academicians, students, and entrepreneurs, especially across the IT and educational corridors of OMR (Sholinganallur, Navalur, Siruseri, Karapakkam, Thoraipakkam, Perungudi), ECR, Medavakkam, and Velachery.
Founded in 2014, DCPCA (Dakshin Chennai Prabasi Cultural Association) was established to give every Bengali in Chennai a true feeling of "Gharer Moto" (home away from home) — nurturing our mother tongue, performing arts, culinary traditions, and shared values of empathy and unity.
চেন্নাইয়ের সমৃদ্ধ আইটি ও শিক্ষাঙ্গনে কাজ করেন হাজার হাজার প্রবাসী বাঙালি। ২০১৪ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত দক্ষিণ চেন্নাই প্রবাসী কালচারাল অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (DCPCA) চেন্নাইয়ের বুকে প্রতিটি বাঙালির জন্য এক আপন আলয় — যেখানে বাংলা ভাষা, সংস্কৃতি, পারস্পরিক ভ্রাতৃত্ব ও সেবার বন্ধন চির অম্লান।

বাঙালির পরিচয় তার রসনাতৃপ্তিতে। আনন্দমেলার ঘরোয়া রান্না থেকে শুরু করে কলকাতার কাঠি রোল, ফিশ ফ্রাই, কষা মাংস ও শীতের পিঠেপুলি উৎসবে মেতে ওঠে আমাদের সম্প্রদায়।

Giving back to society is our moral compass. DCPCA actively supports elder care at Vishranthi Old Age Home, child education at New Hope Orphanage, blood donation drives, and disaster relief programs in Tamil Nadu.
